Dungeons of Sowold

Dungeons of Sowold is a small roguelike with instant deaths and procedurally generated levels. 

To succeed you must find the magic portal. But be careful, danger lurks around every corner.

Keyboard

  • Navigate: WASD or arrow keys
  • Shoot: Spacebar
  • Open doors: E
  • Toggle inventory: Tab
  • Pause: Esc

Important regarding installation

If you are using the Itch.io app while installing, make sure you select the file that matches your OS from the dropdown, whether it's Windows, Linux, Mac.

Nice little roguelike game, really like how ominous the randomly generated doors to nowhere are and the shooting feels satisfying, would have liked different types of enemies but overall great game, good work!

Thanks a lot Hikiyami! It was really fun to watch your video and it gave a few ideas on how to improve the game. Remember you can use the collected items by opening the inventory (see controls by hitting Esc).
